CHURCH GROUPS
Opportunities for Fellowship, Service, and Growth
At St. George Lutheran Church, we believe in the power of community and the importance of growing together in faith. Our church groups offer a welcoming space for individuals to connect, serve, and strengthen their relationship with Christ. We invite you to join one of our groups to experience deeper fellowship and spiritual growth.
Here are the groups at St. George:
Crusaders
The Crusaders is a group for adults who are passionate about fellowship, service, and spiritual growth. This group meets regularly to study Scripture, engage in meaningful discussions, and plan service opportunities within the community. It’s a great place to grow in your faith and connect with others who share similar interests.Men’s Group
The Men’s Group at St. George is dedicated to providing men with opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and service. Whether it’s through Bible study, group discussions, or community service projects, this group fosters strong relationships among men in the church and supports them in their walk with Christ.Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is an essential ministry that helps prepare our worship space and ensures that everything is in order for our services. Members of the Altar Guild serve behind the scenes, taking care of the altar, communion elements, and other worship-related tasks. This group plays a vital role in ensuring our worship experiences are meaningful and beautiful.Youth Group
Our Youth Group provides a safe and supportive environment for young people to grow in their faith. Through Bible study, fun activities, and service projects, the Youth Group encourages spiritual development and fosters lasting friendships. It’s a great place for teens to explore their faith and get involved in the church community.Confirmation Classes
Confirmation is an important step in joining the church and affirming one’s faith. At St. George, our confirmation classes are designed for young people to deepen their understanding of the Lutheran faith, explore their relationship with God, and prepare for full membership in the church. Upon completion of the classes, confirmands publicly affirm their faith and become active members of St. George.
Each of these groups offers a unique opportunity to connect with others, grow spiritually, and serve both the church and the community. We encourage you to join one or more of our church groups to build lasting relationships and strengthen your faith.
